Transfer Scholarships
What matters most to PTK transfer students is transfer scholarships. Members are six times more likely to choose a four-year college or university that values their academic achievement by offering exclusive PTK transfer scholarships over one that doesn’t. In 2020, PTK members saved an estimated $1.4 billion in tuition costs by attending a community college and earned $319 million in transfer scholarships from our four-year college partners, making community colleges and PTK one of the most cost-effective pathways to a four-year degree.

Virtual Transfer and Career Fairs
The pandemic didn’t stop members from researching and exploring their transfer and career options. Open to all community college students, PTK’s virtual college fairs were by far the most attended events of 2020—connecting more than 2,000 students to 677 four-year colleges and universities. PTK also hosted multiple career exploration forums, in our first-ever large-scale employment seminar hosted by Apple.
This year also brought record-breaking utilization of PTK Connect to explore colleges, scholarships and careers.
